Where’s my license key?

It arrives by email right after checkout, from Paddle, our payment provider. If it hasn’t landed within a few minutes, check spam. If it’s truly missing, email support@snap-line.app and we’ll resend it.

Can I get an invoice?

Yes. Paddle is the merchant of record, and its receipt email links to an invoice with the tax details your accountant wants.

Is there a trial?

The full app is free for 14 days: every feature, no card, no account. After that, capturing is what the license unlocks; your history, the editor, and text recognition stay open either way.

How do I re-download the app?

The download is always at snap-line.app/download/Snapline.dmg. It’s the same DMG whether you’re trying it, reinstalling, or setting up a new Mac. Your license lives in the key, not in the download.

How do I move Snapline to a new Mac?

Deactivate in Settings on the old Mac (that frees the seat), then paste the same key on the new one. There’s no account involved.

What happens after the year of updates?

Nothing breaks. Snapline keeps working at the last version your year covered, permanently. When a newer version is worth it, a renewal buys the next year of updates, including any versions published in the gap; the price is on the renew page.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account is required. Paid licenses work offline after activation, and status refreshes run when connected. Trials need periodic connectivity. Captures stay local; translation needs its language packs downloaded before offline use.
